New Mexico City Service

Whether you are a local or a visitor, it is important to know that there are a number of airline companies that offer flights to New Mexico City. You can travel by airlines such as USAir, Delta Air Lines, Spirit Airlines, AeroMexico, and Santa Fe de Nuevo Mexico.

Spirit Airlines
During the past couple of years, Spirit Airlines has been making major moves toward expanding its service to new destinations. The airline recently announced a plan to launch three new airports this summer. One of those new airports is Monterrey, Mexico. The city will be added to the carrier’s list of nonstop destinations in Mexico.

Monterrey is the state capital of Nuevo Leon. It will be the first non-beach destination in Mexico for Spirit. In addition, the airline has added a new nonstop route from Houston to Monterrey.

Spirit Airlines launched service to Monterrey on Thursday. In addition, it also launched service from Austin, Texas to Monterrey.

Volaris
Founded in 2004, Volaris is a Mexican airline that offers flights to destinations in the US, Mexico, and Central America. It has become the country’s second largest airline, with more than 65 destinations.

The airline’s website features an interactive tool that allows travelers to see the US cities where Volaris flies. It can also be used to find the best deals on Volaris tickets.

Volaris has three hubs: Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Tijuana. The airline offers daily flights to the US, Mexico, and Central America. The airline has plans to increase its service to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, and Los Cabos.

In 2011, Volaris became the first airline to confirm its new service at Mexico City’s new Felipe Angeles International Airport. The airport, which opened in March, will be located on an air force base north of the capital.

AeroMexico
Founded in 1934, AeroMexico is a Mexican flag carrier operating scheduled services to over 90 destinations in Mexico and the United States. The airline is headquartered in Mexico City, with secondary hubs in Guadalajara and Monterrey. It has a fleet of more than 100 aircraft.

The airline operates over 600 daily flights from its hub in Mexico City, and serves more than eleven thousand passengers a month. It is one of the founding members of the SkyTeam airline alliance. It also flies to Canada and a small number of countries in Europe.

AeroMexico carries more than 40,000 passengers a year between Mexico City and Boston. The airline previously served the market between 2004 and 2007. The service is expected to generate up to $50 million in economic activity in Massachusetts.

Delta Air Lines
Adding a nonstop service to Mexico City from Minneapolis will give Delta customers better access to the region. The airline has a number of popular destinations in the country. For example, passengers can fly to the island of Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Acapulco and other Mexican cities.

Delta will operate the new Mexico City service daily. It will depart Minneapolis at 8:50 a.m. and arrive at 6:14 p.m. The Airbus A319 aircraft will seat 102 passengers in the Main Cabin. It will also seat twelve in First Class.

The new Mexico City service was prompted by a request from the local business community. Business travelers needed a more convenient link to Mexico. The service also provides more opportunities for Minnesota businesses.

USAir
Several airlines operate flights to and from the state of New Mexico. Some of the larger operators are American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and Southwest Airlines.

USAir Incorporated (USAir) is a public-owned airline headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, that operates under the USAir Group Incorporated. USAir has been providing non-stop service to Mexico City since 1991. However, the airline is considering reducing its service in the fall.

The state of New Mexico tried to ban US Airways from serving alcohol in the state, following a 2006 drunk driving crash that killed five passengers. After US Airways sought to obtain a public service license, the state refused to grant the company a permanent license.

Santa Fe de Nuevo Mexico
Located in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Santa Fe is the capital of New Mexico. This unique city is known for its Pueblo style of architecture, which is built from adobe. It is also a city with a rich cultural heritage.

In 1609, Don Pedro de Peralta moved the Spanish colonial frontier province of Santa Fe de Nuevo Mexico from San Juan de los Caballeros to the new city of Santa Fe. The new city was located at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The city was initially occupied by the Pueblo Indians, but was taken by the Spanish in 1692.
